Description
DIESEL ONLY | BDS raises the bar with 6" radius arm systems for the late model Super Duty.
These 6" systems upgrade the factory stamped steel radius arms to high strength tubular radius arms allowing for caster control and superior strength.
Full length 4" ProRide diesel only specific coil springs are used for the additional ride height paired with your choice of BDS NX2 series gas shocks or FOX 2.0 IFP performance gas shocks for a smooth ride on any terrain. A forged drop pitman arm and heavy duty track bar relocation bracket are supplied to correct steering angles and recenter the front axle. Also supplied for the front are bump stop extensions to limit suspension compression, sway bar drop brackets to correct the sway bar positioning, and brake line relocation brackets. At 6" of lift driveline adjustments are necessary so a precision built transfer case indexing ring is supplied to improve front driveline operating angle. Additionally a high clearance transmission crossmember is supplied. In the rear of these 6" lift systems BDS offers the your choice of replacement rear lift blocks or replacement GlideRide leaf springs. Either option will level out the stance, the spring replacement has the added benefits of an integrated overload leaf for additional load capacity. Additionally high strength black e-coated u-bolts are supplied along with a pair of matching NX2 or FOX 2.0 gas shocks to compliment the front setup for all around impressive performance. Important Kit Notes
1. Fits Diesel models only.
2. Ford recommends replacement of the pitman arm nut after each time it has been removed.
3. Use a small pitman arm puller to remove the drag link joint and steering stabilizer taper.
4. If your truck is equipped with a factory rear sway bar add: BDS123808
5. If your truck is equipped with a 2-piece rear driveshaft, a Carrier Bearing Drop Kit may be required: BDS123402.
6. Due to taller factory ride height, Tremor models will not net full advertised lift height. Final ride height will be the same as standard models.
7. Larger tires on stock wheel are not recommended due to brake line clearance required. Use recommended specs listed in wheel and tire fitment section.
8. The indexing ring is only compatible with 10 speed transmission trucks. Please verify your truck's equipment before installing. Transfer case indexing ring will not fit 6.2L vehicles equipped with the 6R100 transmission.
9. Indexing Ring has NOT been designed to work on manual shift transfer case models. Modification to the shift cable mount will be required.
10. Installation requires a torque wrench capable of 405 ft-lbs.
11. Some trucks with a rear driveline vibration may have a recall from Ford regarding the rear axle. (Safety Recall 21S31) Due to the recall procedure, BDS recommends to have this performed prior to installing the lift.
12. Due to factory ride heights being lower on 2020 and newer model year trucks, the net lift you will gain with this kit will be 1" more than advertised. (EX. 4" kit will net 5" of lift)

Great kit, love the way it looks, I do wish I would have upgraded to Coilover for front, I do feel like the coilover would be a more like factory stability over the raised springs. Looking for the item number to just get the 6 inch coilover and bracket kit to swap lifted springs to coilover springs,
